§ 10-89. Licenses required.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to give, conduct, keep, allow, or maintain any form of entertainment, dancing, vaudeville, amusement, or exhibition, at, in, or in connection with any public restaurant, inn, tavern, hotel, club, or any other public eating place within the corporate limits of the city, without first having obtained a license therefor from the city controller.

    (b)

    This section shall not apply to the use of a radio or television set in such places.

    (c)

    This article shall not apply to any person engaged in any civic, religious, or fraternal enterprise.
