§ 18-190. Exemptions from regulations.

  • This article shall not apply to the owner or driver of any taxicab which is domiciled and licensed in another municipality, and such taxicab and driver may carry passengers from such municipality to any place or point within the city, and may freely enter and temporarily travel over the streets thereof for that purpose, without procuring licenses as herein provided, but such driver shall not solicit business on the streets of the city, or otherwise operate within the city, without first procuring licenses within the provisions of this article.
