§ 2-147. Bonds.

In accordance with state law, all employees, commission members, board members, and persons acting on behalf of the city who handle, have custody or maintain records of money, securities or other property; department and division heads; assistant department and division heads; and peace officers except the city controller, city clerk, weights and measures inspector and utility manager shall be covered by a blanket bond in the amount of $25,000.00 for faithful performance of duty. The official bonds of the following officials shall be fixed at the following amounts:

Controller ..... $300,000.00

(2)

City clerk ..... 15,000.00

(3)

City utility manager ..... 300,000.00

(4)

Weights and measures inspector ..... 300,000.00
