§ 2-256. Members; terms.

(a)

The board of parks and recreation shall be composed of four regular members and a member appointed by the Board of School Trustees, School City of Mishawaka, and a member appointed by the Library Board, Penn Harris Public Library, both ex officio. The mayor shall select the regular members on the basis of their interest in and knowledge of parks and recreation, but not more than two members shall be of the same political party. The ex officio members shall be selected by their respective boards and shall have full member privileges.

(b)

Each appointment shall be for a four-year term. All terms shall expire on the first Monday of January, but an appointee shall continue in office until his successor is appointed.
