  • There is created a department of economic development for the city. The department shall be under the control of a board of five members to be known as "The Mishawaka Economic Development Commission," whom shall be appointed pursuant to the provisions of the IC 36-7-12-4. In accordance with the Act, the members shall be appointed as follows: three shall be appointed by the mayor of the city, one shall be appointed by the county council of St. Joseph County, Indiana, and one shall be appointed by the common council.
