§ 2-364. Police reserve officers.

(a)

The board of public works and safety may appoint police reserve officers to be employed at the police department and who shall report to the police chief and appropriate assistant chief.

(b)

The board of public works and safety shall, with assistance of the police chief and mayor, develop the rules and authority for police reserve officers, subject to the provisions of IC 36-8-3-20.
