§ 2-572. Smoking prohibited in city buildings.

  • (a)

    No person shall smoke or use tobacco products in any of the buildings of the city or the city utilities, except as provided in subsection (b) of this section.

    (b)

    Smoking and the use of tobacco products shall be permitted in lobby areas which have exterior doors and which are separated from the interior of a building by closed doors, if such area contains a sign with letters at least two inches high that conveys the message: "Designated Smoking Area."
