§ 2-596. Administration; rules and regulations.

(a)

Work schedule. The mayor will set the work schedule for all city employees. The board of public works and safety will set the work schedule for city utilities employees.

(b)

Holidays established. The mayor will establish the holidays to be observed for each year by December 1 of the preceding year for city employees. The board of public works and safety will establish the holidays to be observed for each year by December 1 of the preceding year for city utilities employees.

(c)

Enactment of rules and regulations. Rules and regulations may be enacted by the mayor at any time including procedures and recordkeeping requirements for all city employees. Rules and regulations may be enacted by the board of public works and safety at any time including procedures and recordkeeping requirements for city utilities employees.
