§ 30-73. Inspections.

  • (a)

    Whenever it is necessary to make an inspection to enforce any of the provisions of or perform any duty imposed by this chapter, or when there is reasonable cause to believe that there exists upon any premises any violation of the provisions of this chapter or state law, a code enforcement officer is authorized at all reasonable times to enter upon the premises to inspect the same for compliance with the provisions of this article or of applicable state law.

    (b)

    If requested by the owner or occupant of the property, proper credentials and a copy of this article shall be presented by the code enforcement officer to the owner or occupier of the subject real estate in connection with any such inspection.
