§ 34-31. Adoption of fire prevention codes.

(a)

The fire safety rules of the Indiana Fire Prevention and Building Safety Commission as set out in the Indiana Administrative Code are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference into this Code and shall include later amendments to that article as the same are published in the Indiana Register or the Indiana Administrative Code.

(b)

When a particular subject matter is not treated within the context of the rules of the state fire prevention and building safety commission, the national fire codes, as promulgated by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), along with any and all references and amendments thereto, as periodically revised, is hereby adopted for use.
