§ 34-60. Enforcement authority.

It shall be the duty and responsibility of the chief of the fire department, chief of the fire prevention bureau, or such officer or designee who is an ex-officio assistant to the state fire marshal under IC 36-8-17-5(a) to enforce the provisions of this chapter. The designated enforcement officer of this chapter is herein referred to as the fire chief.
