§ 58-295. Permits for loading zones.

  • (a)

    Required. The city traffic engineer shall not hereafter designate or sign any loading zone on special request of any person unless the person applies for a permit for the zone and for two signs to indicate the ends of each zone.

    (b)

    Annual fee; conditions on use of signs. The city traffic engineer on granting a permit and issuing the signs shall collect from the applicant and deposit in the city treasury a service fee of $10.00 per year or fraction thereof. In addition, he may by general regulations impose conditions on the use of the signs and for reimbursement of the city for the value thereof in the event of their loss or damage, and their return in the event of misuse or on expiration of permit.

    (c)

    Expiration. Every such permit shall expire at the end of one year.
