§ 58-499. Limitations on use of whistles.

  • (a)

    No person operating or controlling any locomotive engine shall sound the whistle or horn thereof, or allow it to be sounded, on approaching or crossing the Grand Trunk Western Railroad Company crossings at the following streets in the city:

    (1)

    Clay Street.

    (2)

    Division Street.

    (3)

    Fir Road.

    (4)

    Jefferson Boulevard.

    (5)

    Liberty Drive.

    (6)

    Logan Street.

    (7)

    Main Street.

    (8)

    McKinley Highway.

    (b)

    No person operating or controlling any locomotive engine shall sound the whistle or horn thereof, or allow it to be sounded, on approaching or crossing the Conrail crossings at the following streets in the city:

    (1)

    Beiger Street.

    (2)

    Byrkit Street.

    (3)

    Capital Avenue.

    (4)

    Carlton Street.

    (5)

    Delorenzi Street.

    (6)

    Elder Street.

    (7)

    Hendricks Street.

    (8)

    Ironwood Drive.

    (9)

    Kline Street.

    (10)

    Laurel Street.

    (11)

    Logan Street.

    (12)

    Main Street.

    (13)

    Merrifield Avenue.

    (14)

    Oakside Street.

    (15)

    Russell Avenue.

    (16)

    Smith Street.

    Spring Street.
