§ 62-381. Connection with water main; permit.

(a)

When any person desires to connect with any water main in the city, he shall first obtain a written permit from the building department to do so. The permit shall give the number of the lot, block and street number where the connection is to be made, and the size of the connection.

(b)

The permit shall be filed with superintendent of the water works of the city 24 hours previous to the time it is desired to make such connection. The superintendent shall keep a record of all such permits and connections in a book to be kept for that purpose.
