§ 66-19. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Weeds means and includes rank vegetation or any other vegetable matter which exceeds the height of nine inches from the ground; provided, however, that this does not include:

    (1)

    Trees, bushes, or shrubs which have been planted or cultivated by the owner or occupant of the property;

    (2)

    Agriculture crops, such as hay or pasture; or

    (3)

    Vegetable matter cultivated in plant beds.
