§ 105-169. Exterior signage materials.

  • Exterior signage materials such as wood, metal, and masonry shall be encouraged where possible. Use of exposed neon shall be discouraged. An appropriate application for exposed neon, if utilized, shall be located within exterior display windows. Support materials for freestanding signs shall consist of a masonry style consistent with the exterior appearance of the principle building. Metals, or other materials consistent with and complementary to the principle building may also be considered appropriate.
