§ 10-113. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    Carnival means any group of exhibitions consisting of the display of freaks, monstrosities, exhibitions of skill, lewd dancing or lewd exhibitions of any kind or description, or any one or more of such displays; including amusement devices such as merry-go-rounds, Ferris wheels, or any other amusement rides; and including games of chance in which the public or any person attending such place is invited to take part.
