§ 46-2. Accosting persons prohibited.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to accost, approach, or signal any person of the opposite sex unknown to that person and by any word, sign, or gesture, attempt to speak to or to become acquainted with that person against his will on any public street or in any public place or in any place in the city, except in the transaction of legitimate business or to extend greetings of the day to that person.
