§ 58-356. Issuance of exclusive reserved parking space permits.

The city board of public works is hereby authorized, from time to time, to issue one or more exclusive reserved parking space permits and to designate one or more parking spaces in municipal off-street parking lot number three as an exclusive reserved parking space. Each such exclusive reserved parking space shall be designated by a prominent sign, which shall state the person or entity for whom or for which said space is exclusively reserved. No person other than the holder of such exclusive reserved parking space permit shall be entitled to the use of such space for the parking of any vehicle which such exclusive permit holder may designate from time to time, in writing, to the city agency or department authorized by the board of public works and safety to issue municipal parking lot permits. The board of public works is authorized to issue such exclusive reserved parking space permits in consideration of the lease or sale of real estate to the city for use as a municipal off-street parking lot or for any other municipal purpose, such exclusive reserved parking space permit to be issued under such terms and conditions as the board of public works may negotiate pursuant to such lease or purchase agreement.
