§ 101-101. Examinations.
(a)
Each application to take an examination shall be made in writing to the board 30 days before the examination date, stating the license applied for, the name and place of business of the applicant or, if the applicant is a corporation or other firm, the names of the representatives of the applicant who will act as supervisors of the work to be done under the license. An examination fee of $10.00 shall be paid when the application is made.
(b)
An individual applicant or the supervisor designated by an applicant that is a corporation or other firm shall be examined by the heating, air conditioning and ventilating examining and review board as to his knowledge of the rules and regulations for the installation of heating, air conditioning and ventilating equipment, as set forth by the appropriate codes; and to determine the general qualifications and fitness of the applicant for executing the class of work covered by the license applied for.
(c)
The examination shall be in writing and a complete record of every examination given shall be kept on file three years after the date of the examination.
