§ 133-172. Standards for infrastructure construction, inspection, and acceptance.

(a)

All required public infrastructure shall be designed and constructed in accordance with the latest standards as adopted by the board of public works and safety.

(b)

Construction of public infrastructure shall commence only after construction documents have been approved and accepted by the board of public works and safety.

(c)

Inspection of the construction of all required public infrastructure shall be approved by the city engineer, and then accepted by the board.

(d)

As-built plans for public infrastructure shall be accepted and approved by the board before the board shall accept the public infrastructure.

(e)

A one-year maintenance bond shall be submitted to the board for ten percent of the market value of the public infrastructure. The maintenance bond shall take effect on the date the board accepts the public infrastructure.
