§ 2-443. Penalty.

(a)

Any person who violates sections 2-468 and 2-469 upon conviction, shall be subject to the provisions of section 1-7, or elect to admit to an ordinance violation and pay the prescribed fine to the ordinance violations bureau clerk as provided in section 2-2(b).

(b)

Any person who violates section 2-572 or any person who removes or defaces any sign posted as required herein, shall be fined subject to the provisions of section 1-7. In addition to the penalties provided herein, any person who violates section 2-572 will be asked to comply with the no-smoking policy and if such person fails to do so, he will be asked to leave the building, and if he fails to do so his status shall be that of a trespasser. Each day a violation shall continue constitutes a separate violation.
